Some of the guys are mounting them on a deployable shaft that has a handle on the top that you can turn and point it in the direction you want to look. But when you have a trolling motor, two fish finders, and an additional shaft to mount livescope transducer - is there any room to fish off rhe front of the boat.
What I would really like is to have a diver down, just to confirm the kind of fish I was marking. It's the pits trying to catch the wrong kind of fish with the wrong kind of bait. I've seen some diver footage of AGFC fish attractors with 4-5 different predator size fish on it at the same time. Bull Shoals alone has over 500 fish attractors.
I've had my Garmin livescope for 14 months now and it's been great! I'm not interested in perspective view as i don't fish shallow water.With that being said I do keep the software up dates current. Two weeks ago Active Captain notified me that i had updates. I downloaded and installed the updates which I assume are for the perspective view.

Garmin Striker Plus 4CV + Transducer fish finder with gps. Universal portable transducer mount, 2 12v batteries and dry box to carry it in. All of this equipment is brand new, used it one time. Purchased on 02/08/2020. Thought I was going to get into crappie fishing but really not my thing. Paid over 280.00 without tax, will sell it all for 230.00.
