Just ordered a DUI dist. for my ZZ 383 talked to them on the phone they say to open the plug gap to .055 is this a realistic gap will it "push" this gap anybody using a DUI running such a large gap. If the plug side electrode is suitable for a ~.040--.045 gap, that's what I'd use. You won't hurt anything by running a .035 gap; you MIGHT find that a slightly larger gap will be to your advantage. .

The last set are file fit, so you have to gap them. If you decide the last set gap the second ring first they are much softer than the top ring so its easy to gap them more than neeeded if you start with the top ring.
