It will be interesting to read any comments on the stability / useability of the Firestorm PBR release vs. the Official viewer (since PBR is still "new" in Firestorm). Some of the "complaints" so far about the Firestorm PBR release, I don't remember seeing for the Official viewer (but of course, it isn't used as much).

The precise message varies depending on your OS (Operatiing System...Windows 10/11 or equivlent Apple version) and your security level set in you browser. Once the download is complete (as it should then be) proceed as normal. It is imperative to only download the viewer (whichever you choose) from that viewer's official website.

Official site only shows previous 2-3 versions (Firestorm 6.4.21 64531 doesn't even have a Windows download link). Anyone know where I can find versions before that? One of these versions messed up the mesh uploader and I'm trying to see which older version I can install to avoid the issue.
And, am I updating, or uninstalling and reinstalling a different program because further down the page, it says that Phoenix is no longer supported. The version I have says, Firestorm 4.5.1 (38838) Oct 28 2013 00:03:49 (Firestorm-Beta) with Havok support. I don't know if that's Phoenix. Next on the download page;
For the OP: Download the Firestorm Linux viewer by going to their webpage with a browser, right-clicking on the Linux download tab, and choosing Save-as or left-click. In a file manager (pcFMan, Caja, Nautilas or whatever), find your way to where the download went. Right-click on it, choose "archiver", and it will open.
