Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album by singer/songwriter Barry Manilow, released in 1978. The album was certified 3× Platinum in the US, [1] and would be Manilow's last of that certification, as of 2021. [2] It also features the new single, "Ready to Take a Chance Again", which reached #11 in the US the same year. [3]
It is named after the ABBA song "That's Me". In addition to solo hits by Fältskog, the album includes three ABBA songs with lead vocals by Agnetha and the recently discovered 1981 demo of "The Queen of Hearts". The album's cover art was designed by Ernie Cefalu and features a sepia-toned Drew Struzan illustration of the band members in front of a 1930s garage, accompanied by such period movie stars as Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Robert Taylor, Edward G. Robinson, Jean Harlow, Peter Lorre, and Groucho Marx.
