We were able to download the HP FULL solution software (not HP Smart). It's a bit tricky with HP Easy Start (the apps that walks you through the steps), but the HP FULL software is there. Alternatively, try to select Win 7 as the OS and the FULL software may be able to be downloaded to a USB thumbdrive for offline install.
