In general Intel UHD graphics are fine for general desktop usage, video playback (at all resolutions), and very light-duty games (i.e. some indie titles and emulators of old consoles) but Minecraft and Rocket League would be somewhat of a struggle for it. Even something as modest as a used GTX 950 or 960 would be a vast improvement.
The Intel Iris Xe graphics hardware is essentially the predecessor GPU developed prior to the Intel ARC Alchemist discrete video card architecture. The tested benchmark performance levels has the GPU perform above that of a GT 1030 but substantially less than that of a GTX 950. It performs well below 20% that of a RX 550 GPU from AMD.
It’s not very good however it’s not a high end graphics card and it’s not consuming a lot of juice anyway as a mid tier gpu. The card is aging like fine wine especially being compared to the 6000 series and the 30 series. Even the 40 and future 7000 series are starting to look worse when it comes to longer life spans.

This is why I'm considering uninstalling or at least disabling Intel Graphics command center startup. The only option I find interesting for my use is POWER/On battery/Power Plans/MaximumBatteryLife as I'm using a laptop but I'm not sure if that settings helps much.
Intel ARC Control will allow you to control all of your supported GPUs/iGPUs. If you use Intel ARC Control it is safe to Disable the Intel Graphics Command Center services from starting up just DON'T disable the Intel ARC Services. Arc Control Center is all you need. With the latest driver 5186, every display option is available in ACC.
