tryed to install DaVinci Resolve on Ubuntu 24.04 and i got stuck on missing packages and even i installed the packages Ubuntu changes the backages to use t64 at end and getting same issue all the time. not sure what pre installation depencies need to be downloaded i remember on ubuntu 22.04 was atleast gcc12, gcc12-c++, mesa-dev and some others.

I can definitely recommend having both a dongle and a key. You can have the key activated on two PCs at once (it will say "Remaining activations: 1" after activating the first one), but having a dongle you can take with you and plug in anywhere is a use case all on its own. Top. Mr. Chơi.
In the terminal, type this command: rm "/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/.ofxinit". Restart Resolve, and see if it works. If it crashes, and after you start Resolve you continue to have the same issue, one of the plugins in the /Library/OFX/Plugins folder is not working correctly.
