I would change your list to like: Newport, Laguna, Irvine, Costa Mesa. I grew up in Irvine and now live in North OC. I've lived and worked in Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Brea, Anaheim Hills, and Yorba Linda. If you can afford a great property in Irvine, swing for Irvine.

The beaches in Orange County are better in my opinion, San Diego people would probably disagree. Also north Orange County is very different than south Orange County. The sports teams are way better in oc! You’re in the middle of two large counties and can easily take a day trip to San Diego or LA. Reply. Award.

They offer sushi boxes for pickup from 4th street market in Santa Ana. Easily the best quality to value ratio around.
