The minimum bid is three, and the winning bid is the highest bid, and they get to make trump. If the player makes the bid, they get one point for each trick the team takes.
The player to the left of the bidder then has the option to raise the Euchre bid and call a different suit as trump. This proceeds until the bid has returned to the initial bidder.
