firsty delete the extention from chrome and after theat go to advance setting and click on reset setting after resetting install idm extention manualy (1)open extention tab in chrome (2)go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager and select IDMGCExt.crx and drop into extention tab in chrome this will install this extenstion in chrome 100% work
If you hide your extension, you can solve that. On your right hand to the top corner you can see three lines going directly down, if you click on it, not right click but click on it go down until you see "more tools" then it will give you a list of some things, go down until you see "extensions", then click on that, and press show, then you can live your normal life.
The extension for Internet Download Manager has stopped working in Google Chrome. Everything was working alright until I updated IDM to 6.19.2, then the extension for Comodo Dragon stopped working suddenly. Other extensions are still working fine. I have installed IDM (latest version 6.38) on my Windows computer and it is not picking the .dmg files in the first place. To solve it... Make sure the IDM extension is properly installed in your browser. Select the .dmg file using your mouse pointer, "Download with IDM" option will appear, just click on that.

Follow the steps below to remove Chrome integration. Go to your Options->Settings page: Go to Downloads->Monitoring. In there, untick Google Chrome, so that FreeDownloadManager integration with chrome is disabled. This should prevent the popup, regardless if the dll/plugin is working or not. Disclaimer: I use free download manager.
In Windows 10, Chrome 83 now automatically downloads PDFs anytime I click a PDF link or click to download a PDF email attachment. This is also happening in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v2018.011.20058.
