    Silver Member. Sep 8, 2023. #2. I had both eyes corrected for cataracts. I went with the standard lens, I see 20/20 in the distance and very good up close, I use 1x reading glasses. I didn't go for the split vision lens because I used to wear bifocals and going down stairs was always tricky.

    Aug 3, 2014. #3. I bought a z2 shaft a while back and didnt like it so I traded it to a buddy of mine. He hated it too after a while, so he took it to a repair guy. Not sure exactly what was done, but my guess is a dowel was put in the shaft, because the end result was a 1" ferrule was put on it. After that it played well, and was still LD.

    Its's simple. Use a Balabushka for bar tables, and a Szamboti for full size tables. Most Balabushka cues were made at 57.5" and Gus are usually 58" or 59". You don't need the extra length on a bar table, but its nice for long shots on a 9'. Here is a pic of a 57.5" original Balabushka next to a 59" original Gus Szamboti.
