1) Circuit Board Medics refund the entire transaction (the $150 plus the $300 for the repair). Since I never received a working finished product then I feel like this would be the best option. 2) Circuit Board Medics send me a fully repaired FICM and the $150 that you have agreed that I should never have been charged.

6 posts · Joined 2024. #1 · May 2, 2024. I was driving down the road this past weekend and suddenly began to lose power in my 2005 6.0 powerstroke. Truck would crank but only idle and not accelerate. Felt as if only half my injectors were firing. I hooked up forscan and come to find out I have low voltage codes on injectors 1,4,6,7.
You can get half shells at O'reilly's and other parts stores, but if you're planning on keeping the truck and want it fixed properly, call or email Ed at FICMrepair. Circuit Board Medics is another option. I got the ultra service from Ed. Lifetime warranty and my voltage usually sits at 49v and rarely ever goes below 48.5. Never seen it below 48.
My wiring and grounding is in good shape from what I see. I replaced the FICM with an Alliant 2005-2007 4-pin from Diesel Power Products (again no affiliation) and it cost me $330 in the end. Before installing, my voltages were getting worse and worse. After install, cold morning, boom - 50 volts rock solid.
I got home, pulled into the driveway and tried to put her in park. There was a loud clunking noise when I did and the gear shift was difficult to move. I shut her down and pulled codes. I got the glow plug P0678, which I knew needed attention, but got a U0155, instrument cluster lost communication.
