Everytime I try to log into my Microsoft account on powerpoint, it tells me that my ID or passsword are wrong but I'm capable of signing in with the same ID and password on the Microsoft site.

Whenever I login to my Windows PC, Powerpoint automatically opens to an empty presentation. The only troubleshooting I can find for this is to remove the program from the folder C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup - but this folder is empty. Is there some other setting that might be causing this?
