Hero. Make sure multiple Sims live in in the household. Use MC Command Center to kill the problem Sim. Click on the Sim's ghost and use MC Command Center to revive them. Put all the affected Sims in a household. Enroll them in University (with no cheats) Go to Manage Worlds. Enter that household again.
MC Command Center is a mod that “expand the functionality and story progression within the Sims 4.” -Deaderpool. This is an easy to understand breakdown of the purpose for each file you're downloading and what settings you may want to change from the start.
Also, make sure you place all MCCC files in the same folder and that the folder is no more than one level deep in the Sims 4 mod folder structure. The Sims 4 will only go one-level deep when looking for script mods. So something like this: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods > MCCC.

I am not sure if I did something wrong but I downloaded the most recent MCCC release. 4 people had this problem. You cannot use the standard Sims 4 methods for adding Sims to households if you have households of more than 8 Sims. It is hard-coded in the Sims 4 UI code for Manage Households and CAS to only allow 8 Sims.
Options. CGrant56. Hero. @karenwhotweeks. When that happens, there is nothing you can do other than force quit. It's basically the BSOD for the game. The game is simply hung at that point, and you can wait forever, and it will not clear and the game resume. The only way to clear it is quit and restart the game.
My guess would be that the Script files are in a location where they won't work. Any .ts4script mods have to either be in the main Mod folder or one Folder deep. example: Mods > MCCC. All script files would have to be in "MCCC" folder for them to work. If your script files end up in a folder within a folder they won't load properly.
What I am trying to get MCCC to do is: babies age after: 1 full year in game so they get to see all 4 seasons. toddlers age after: 2 years, so 4 full seasons two times before aging up. children: 3 years and get to see three full season cycles. teens: 3 years and get to see three full season cycles. Young Adult: 3 years, so 3 full season cycles.
Click the sim you want to copy and select the MC Command Center menu. Click CAS -> Copy/Paste, then select the body parts of the sim you want to copy. Hair is copied elsewhere, so don't worry about that, yet. Click the "x" in the corner of the window until you get back to the main window. Now select "MC Dresser" and Copy/Paste.
