    But it stopped working this week. I can get into Wowways web page and retrieve email that way but I prefer to use Outlook. I spent an hour with wowway tech support and they tell me all i need is the incoming mail is pop3.mail.wowway.com on port 110 and outgoing is smtp.mail.wowway.com on port 587. and to use STARTTLS.

    Login to Outlook.com. Click on the gear icon on top right corner. Click on "Options". Click on "Account details (password, addresses, time zone)". Click on "Aliases" in the left panel. Follow the on screen instructions and enter the code. Remove the Secondary alias.

    Found the solution. enable POP & IMAP. ( if already enabled, trying disabling and enable again). remove the account from Mail app and add again. Both my gmail and yahoo accounts work perfectly within the windows 10 built-in "mail" app, but the knology (now wowway) stopped working.
