The original park is in Tampa, Florida, and the second park is in Williamsburg, Virginia. There were also previously Busch Gardens parks in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California (1964–1979) [ 1] and Houston, Texas (1971–1973). [ 2]
Baywatch Ski Show. On August 17, 1996, an 18-foot-long (5.5 m) motorboat wrecked into the ski stadium audience of 4,000 people and injured 22 of them. Those injured aged from 2 to 78, and four were in critical condition. The boat was a part of the Baywatch Ski Show and crashed after a mechanical failure.
