Hi Hania, I appreciate your response, but unfortunately, the problem is not solved after reinstalling WhatsApp. Moreover, the "Keep Me Signed in" box is not visible on the page where the barcode is scanned. Each time I launch the App after exiting, it still requires a login by scanning the barcode.

Open WhatsApp go to the QR Code like you are trying to scan something, while the QR Code is open scroll down the phone panel you’ll see the brightness is at max.., then you reduce from there. WhatsApp brightness will be fixed. Just restart your phone and the brightness will be back to normal.
The best solution is to open Whatsapp web in Google Chrome. Then go to the 3 dot menu -> Save and Share -> Install Whatsapp Web. The only way I can get it to launch is by going to task manager and finding whatsapp in the background processes, and then selecting it and clicking end task. After this, double-clicking the whatsapp shortcut launches whatsapp. Issue resolved with the App update with 2.2043.22.0.
Doesn't work. Whatsapp's Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage menu shows 4.94 GB of storage usage. The iPhone's Settings > General > iPhone Storage menu tells me WhatsApp is taking up 21.48 GB of storage. That's an extra 16.54 GB of storage that cannot be deleted via the guide you posted because that method simply doesn't show that data.
