The Arts Center is a collaboration between the Cannon Community Playhouse (est. 1980), the Cannon County Historical Society, and the Cannon Association of Craft Artists. The building was constructed in 1935 to replace the county's 1838 courthouse, which burned in 1934. [2] [3] The courthouse is built in the Colonial Revival style.
