Based on my experience from last year and other posts I've found here, it seems that Blaze/First Savings Bank makes offers to increase CLIs around this time of year. After getting a letter in the mail that I might be eligible for one, I updated my income yesterday and got another $500 increase, from $1100 to $1600.
They were great, easy lift off of limit, annual fee high, but in building, never pay interest, U.S. Based support. Blaze is meh, less. You MIGHT call the bank and ask for the Legacy. There should be only one 75 fee, a grace period (the card is superior to a First Premier), and they allow two online payments per month.
Re: Blaze Mastercard. I really can't remember. Probably less than 2 years to go from 300.00 to 1100.00. I never asked for a lower AF. I knew nothing about that back then. I was reading about Blaze Mastercard. I see it has high annual fees and also high interest rate. Looks it will grow more than $300 Credit - 5995111.
Blaze Mastercard Application Question. I applied for a Blaze Mastercard on Oct 4. I called the application status line and spoke to an agent. As a side note, they have stellar customer service. She said that they needed address verification. A few days later I received a letter asking for address verification.
As my Blaze Card turned 6 months old, I recevied $250 CLI on my Blaze Credit Card. Now my new limit is $750. Not a bad card. Let us see if they give me another CLI at the 1 year mark in April 2021.
Pre approval in the mail for the BLAZe card! i was tempted to apply until i saw the 29.99% interest rate with a $75 af. I really hope noone falls for this attempt by First Premier at redeeming themselves! I mailed it back with a brochure for life insurance, i hope they get the hint!
