Description of problem or question: I usually use the preset "Very Fast 1080p30" for BDs. This preset always converts audio to AAC (CoreAudio) Stereo, but the default title for the audio track is the title of the original audio track, e.g. Surround 7.1 or Surround 5.1 and will remain after conversion.

Set HandBrake to convert the audio to AC3 or AAC, then make it ignore or passthrough the video. Finally, remux it as an MKV. I hope I have made myself clear! As an aside, the whole video conversion game is incredibly confusing and labyrinthine. We need a tool like HandBrake to really simplify the whole process.

The container format AVI or the codec (dvvideo I can see). If it's just the container, you can try to mux the video file to a MKV with MKV Toolnix. Then there is no more quality loss for a reencode.

Description of problem or question: Output video hangs every few minutes. I encode with a MacBook M3 Pro and use the x265 10-bit encoder as well as without filter and RF 19. This is a 4K HDR video.
