The limit is per order. The $500 cards are one per order, so I usually just stand at self checkout and buy, pay, repeat until I have the total I need. The only reason I have a Sam's card is for the discounted Disney gift cards. I was sad to see they recently went up on price for their $500 cards (2nd price increase within the last 2 yrs).

I add the visa to my pay pal and set it as a preferred way to pay. Then i go to target put a Disney gift card for the same amount as my visa gift card in my cart.

They sell a Disney TICKET card where you scan a QR code and select the ticket (s) you want to purchase. I just wanted straight up Disney gift cards that could be used for anything.

You could buy discounted Target gift cards through Raise.com, then go to Target.com to use the gift cards and add on your TargetRed card to get an additional 5% off and purchase Disney Gift Cards. I did it in August for a trip and saved 12% on $500 worth.
