If yes, go to Seward park by the south end of lake Washington- the upper loop is an old growth forest similar to the hoh rainforest on the Olympic peninsula. Go to dash point park to experience the beauty of puget sound. Take the ferry to vashon island and drive to point Robinson park for an hike on the beach.

Queen Anne is accessible by bus, or by monorail from downtown. Definitely a walkable city, with bus and light rail options. Ballard, Fremont, downtown, Capitol Hill most walk friendly in terms of things to do and eat. Seattle is very public transit friendly. Use the app 'transit go' for practically free rides.

Pros: A small neighborhood feel in the big city thanks to the borders of Lake Union, the big climb up to Capitol Hill, and the University Bridge, plus an active neighborhood council. An actual neighborhood grocery store in walking distance (Pete's). Easy access to the water. Easy access to I-5 for commuting.
Some observations of mine: it seems nearly every metro area has no shortage of complaints about dating in their 20s. The question then is what are they complaining about and who is complaining. Seattle has an oversupply of men of every stripe, and a lot of these men are disproportionately higher earners.
