I wonder if part of the issue is that ultrasound estimates are based on gestational age, but post-birth it’s based on actual age regardless of the fact that babies can be born at various weeks of gestation. I was measuring at 94th and my bub was born in the 93rd percentile for his gestation. He was born at 31+6.
At my 34 w US baby was the 13th percentile. She has been growing slowly but steadily. They will do an US at 38 weeks. If she drops below 10, then they will induce me at 39 weeks I believe. If she is above 10, I do not have to be induced. 35th percentile at 32 weeks, and then my baby was at 50th percentile at 36 weeks.

All of her vital organs and everything on the scan appeared normal, but they recommend the genetic testing before I go back in 4 weeks for a growth scan due to her small size.

Makes sense if you and husband are small :) My baby boy was a little under 5lbs at 28w3d and is >99th percentile, measuring similar to 33w.
