As noted above, his says it kills them dead, with fewer cripples. He likes #5 for ducks. Another point not mentioned -- is he says there is less damage to the duck meat!
If I'm understanding it correctly, only a registered gun owner can buy ammo in CA. I know that Cali' likes to tout that their point of sale background check for ammo, passed in 2019, was the first in the nation, but that's semantics. CT and Mass have had a background check in place to buy ammo prior to 2019. They just do it differently.
