The PR-D5 turns out to be a state-of-the-art AM radio and is able to outperform my Drake SW4A with an AN-100 tunable loop. I'm glad to find that there are still some good AM radios even if they aren't made in the US.
I like to be familiar with what I am about to do before I start in, and I don’t want to buy the wrong stuff and make a mess of my work. I have successfully used stains, removers, and solvents, and products from Howards and Formby, but have never used grain filler. I have two radio cabinets to refinish. My questions - GRAIN FILLER:
Began repair of nice LANG plastic set. Tubes include: 50C5, 35W4, 12AV6, 12BA6, and 12BE6. Set hummed loudly when I bought it.
