06-24-2023 12:32 PM. Either the drivers for your 7840HS or 7940HS are OEM processors thus not listed or supported by AMD or those APU mobile processor are still too new and AMD hasn't updated the AMD download page. Not sure if AMD is now supporting all of its OEM Processors with drivers or not.
It appears that AMD quietly dropped support for the Radeon 780M in the Ryzen 7840U driver because of a bug that locks GPU clocks to 800Mhz, resulting in poor performance. 08-23-2018 04:15 PM. Since you didn't post your computer spec as per AMD Forum. When you go to the New AMD Download Page and input your GPU for the driver you want. Once it shows all the latest drivers for your GPU look toward the very bottom of the last driver shown. You will see in small print "Previous Drivers" as per this image:
Run the AMD Cleanup Utility and uninstall everything if you already installed the drivers. Then download the drivers as you would usually. Open that .exe with 7zip and you will see Bin64,Config,Packages and Setup.exe. Go into Packages and extract "Drivers". Go into Device Manager and then expand "Display Adapters".

11-27-2021 10:29 AM. Going to need to wait and find out when the product is officially released to the public. The MediaTek Chip does use a AMD CPU so it is a good chance that AMD will probably have a special AMD CHIPSET package to install that might include Wifi/Bluetooth drivers.
The last driver AMD released for Windows 8.1 was version 17.7.1 which you can still download and is ironically the last driver that contained great performance for Unreal Engine 3 DirectX 9 games for Radeon cards.
