Tips For Buyers And Sellers On Offerup I put together a list of some tips for buying/selling on Offerup as it can be a great app to use if you know the ins/outs, but terrible/scammy if you don't. Feel free to add your tips in the comments to help others out.
OfferUp messages only show in the app and in your email, it doesn't send as SMS (text) to your phone (unless you directly provided the seller your mobile). If indeed they'd sent you messages, you'd see these in the message history.
Offerup and Craigslist are now considered a bargain bin selling market, also the economy is horrendous and doesn't help either. I've not sold there for months and will probably go back to eBay and Amazon because I'm not letting my collectable items and stuff in new condition sell for dirt cheap anymore.

MERCARI is stupid after selling on there for 3 months and having over 5k in sales they banned me because someone asked if I can meet them locally. I told them ...
Does anyone know how to get ahold of Offerup’s customer service? Their website says they’re available 7 days a week, but I’ve only received automated email replies when I’ve tried contacting them.
OfferUp is not forcing you to join "Truyou", but giving you a choice to stay on the platform. You can choose to either join Truyou or to leave the platform (in other words, to stop using OfferUp). There are other e-commerce platforms you can use. Don't give Id there about to shadowban u☹️.
Good alternative to offer up? I remember a couple months ago I was trying to sell a third party ps4 controller whom I bought from a seller on offer and they removed my post because it violated their counterfeit and piracy policy.
OfferUp was working just fine for me until about 3 days ago. I can't sign in or even sign up for a new account. I do not think it is related, but…
