I just bought 2 series 2 elite controllers and on the one I am using for myself the left thumb stick will unscrew and this is without the included tool to change the tension. I don't think it is supposed to do this and I can screw it clockwise until it stops but when I'm playing Halo or something similar it will loosen itself when I am moving ...
I purchased a custom elite 2 controller for £170 + only to now have no controller and no way of speaking to anyone about this. I am sad :( I just want my controller back, If anyone has any way of forwarding this issue to a MS support team I would be ever soo grateful. Thanks!
Please, follow these steps: Open the Xbox Accessories app. Scroll to your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and select Configure. Select a profile to adjust or create a new one. Select the Edit button and in the Mapping tab select the icon or letter for the button or input you’d like to change.
I was using the controller and it just shut off. Plugging in the controller did not allow it to turn back on. I got the controller recently, not sure if this means the battery isn’t charging or if there is something else at play. Any help would be appreciated.
I recently got an elite controller series 2 to use on my W10 PC and when I first started it it was working fine, it paired through Bluetooth and was detected correctly through the accessories app and Steam. But after plugging it in and doing an update it no longer registers as an "elite" controller on Bluetooth.
So I see that the Xbox elite series 2 controllers come with a 1 year warranty through Microsoft. I registered the controller to my account as I purchased it this week. However, instead of a 1 year warranty I was given a warranty with only 5 months.
