I'm currently scouring a few old threads looking for a consensus answer on the best YT downloader, and I've noticed that this dude has the same amount of upvotes on this exact comment in multiple months old threads (all comments were posted on the same day, 9-10 months after the original post and are all somehow near or at the top).
4K Video Downloader had a shady past, the developer tried to add 3rd party bundleware into the installer, now seems to be clean (at least the portable version), the license is somehow unclear, some users report that the program ask for a payment randomly so not really free.

There's a web browser (like google) app called Brave, and it has cool features like built in adblockers and VPNs, but on iPhone, by pressing the 3 dots in the corner and tapping "Add to Playlist", you can add your videos to a playlist where you can then hold the video and click "Save for Offline Cache" Afaik, you can only use the playlist on iPhone.

One of the options that comes up is "Copy URL", click on that. Copy and paste the URL into the address bar to start playing it, then use CTRL+s to save the file. If it's a regular video file like .mp4, it should work fine. If it's .m3u or .m3u8 playlist, it's a little more tricky.
