    Typically calls that show a local number, but then have someone claiming to be a Spectrum employee are scam calls and do not originate with us, so it's not something we can stop. The calls can be reported to the FCC by visiting their site. You can also visit our site for more information on blocking these calls using our Call Guard feature.

    January 29 edited July 10. This seems like a scam email. I only paid attention to it because I just updated my email settings, so I thought maybe it could be real. I would think an official Spectrum email would be something along the lines of "Spectrumsecurity@..." and I don't think they use the woh.rr.com because that is specific to western Ohio.

    Welcome, Spectrum has a phone scam report form for calls that are not being blocked here: Charter Spectrum - Spam Report (For unwanted phone calls not getting blocked.) Additionally, you can go into Spectrum's My Account Settings, and set Call Guard, enabled by default, to its highest filter setting. This will stop these types of calls.

    Low Filter- Blocks known malicious calls only. Medium Filter- Blocks known malicious calls, spammers, and telemarketers. High Filter- Blocks known malicious calls, spammers, Telemarketers, and Robocalls. I would set your Spam Filter to High. (Don't forget to change your settings.) Satch

For this domain, it's Charter Communications in St. Louis. We have seen an uptick recently is phishing attempts and scams.
