Yeah, I seem to notice that too. Though back then when I use Japan's region of Apple Music, I wasn't told that the official Digimon Adventure (classic era) music was NOT to be included in Apple Music whatsoever for some reason (same with Blue Seed anime's music).
Yea my sister uses Spotify mostly but because Apple Music has a better C-Pop Catalogue she uses Apple Music for that too. If you are looking for mostly K-pop, Spotify should have that covered. But if your looking for C-Pop or J-pop Apple Music is the way to go IMO. It’s how I got into Kayokyoku and old J-pop. 3.

Hello all, I got a small question regarding Apple Music. My iPhone X system language is English, but as I also speak Japanese I also tend to listen to Japanese song. Unfortunately, Apple Music automatically translates Japanese words into English which makes it so much harder to find the music that I want to listen to.

Edit: I thought you meant Japanese Spotify and Japanese iTunes. To answer your actual question, yes, iTunes has a larger Japanese library. I have Spotify US and Apple Music Japan. Apple Music has quite a lot of music that isn’t on Spotify, for example, Number Girl, The Pillows, Shishamo, Love Live OST, and the new BiSH and Tricot albums.
