I found the MF is .00044 and the RV is 59%. I can qualify for $1000 loyalty and aside from that the only other incentives going is a local dealer has an ad showing a $1000 buy American bonus. Looking on gm family first site it looks like the gm discount for this model is around 7% off of MSRP (my dad gave me a code as he is retired from GM)
My negotiated pre-incentive dealer price was $31,342 ($3,748 dealer discount). GM employee price for the exact same vehicle is $32,560 ($2,531 discount). So my self-negotiated deal was over $1,200 better than the employee discount. Employee discount is usually GOOD, but if you’re a grinder like most of us on this forum, you can get better.
See GM Family First. At any rate, the EV credit can be used on dealer discounted vehicles; however, that is up to dealer interpretation. They see the GMS amount on the invoice which is MSRP on these EVs and some interpret they must sell at MSRP. Other dealers see that the EV employee cash allowanxe is a rebate that can be applied to a deal.
The dealers don’t get a full reimbursement of the entire discount. For example the supplier discount on a 2021 Bolt Premier is $1237 – but given feedback from others on this forum, it’s believed the incentive to the dealer is between $500 and $1000. It is complicated but GM does provide the dealerships a certain amount of $$$$ for each GM Family First Sale. I believe it is around $1200 or $1300 but it could have changed. Original price was $42,745.00. After discount I only paid $25,900. No one can come close to this deal…it was 16,000.00 off. Not 600. The $660 difference was the difference between what your deal is and the (GMS price for an unused unit less incentives). A brand new unit would get a GMS discount of around $4k.
