With limit of 15MB/s in GOG Galaxy 2.0 ( version 2.0.26.55 - Beta) Windows Task Manager shows the incoming bandwidth as around 50 Mbps and GOG's Download page shows it as around 5MB/s. The behavior is the same with limits of 5MB/s and 10MB/s. The reported speeds are 15 Mbps / 1.6MB/s and 30 Mbps / 3.3 MB/s accordingly.
Posted April 15, 2022. 4. My average Internet speed is about 37 MB/s. I limit Galaxy to 20 MB/s and still get 0.1 MB/s downloading speed with actual speed far below 0.01 MB/s. For example, a 6 MB file takes HOURS to download. Sometimes Galaxy shows something like 5 MB/s speed but downloaded size is still for hours.

Also, an update: after about 3 hours of downloading, and 1 hour after changing firewall settings, the speed increased to fluctuating between 3.0 MB/s to 5.0 MB/s. There should be a menu option under the Galaxy download offline back up game installers and that is where those are.
But my understanding is that none host GOG data, so it has to come here from a long way away, through all sorts of connections.
