If a source truly only provides a Microsoft HSL input and if you cannot find an alternate, convert it to sRGB. First divide the H by 2 ⁄ 3 , and the S and L by 2.4 to obtain normal HSL values. Then use any online tool (such as [1] ) to convert HSL to sRGB.
Special-purpose color spaces. The rg chromaticity space is used in computer vision applications, and shows the color of light (red, yellow, green, etc.), but not its intensity (dark, bright). If full intensity for one projector is 1, then a primary color has a combined intensity of 1. A secondary color has a total intensity of 2. White has a total intensity of 3. Tinting, or "adding white", increases the total intensity of the hue. While this is simply a fact, the HSL model will take this fact into account in its design.
