This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.

On the window you showed on your screenshot, click on "Change my app recommendation settings" . The Windows settings should open, click on "Apps" on the left and choose "Advanced apps settings". There's an option called "Choose where to get apps". Click on "The Microsoft Store only" and switch to "Anywhere". Then, try again to install Zoom.

I an trying to download Zoom Client Meeting on my Surface Book with Windows 10, when I go to download it nothing happens. I tried troubleshooting it and it said “incompatible program” I know someone with the exact same laptop and they were able to download Zoom with no problems.
Yes the first link is what I need to download Zoom, but it does not download the app for me, it takes me to go to microsoft store which says it does not support this. Apparently the App store no longer has it. Let me know how it goes. I am having the same problem with downloading the zoom app.
Windows 11 S Mode ZOOM? I have a new laptop that's Windows 11 and is in S Mode. What is the set by set process to get zoom meeting on to the computer without taking the computer out of S Mode. I found Zoom in the Microsoft store. But am not sure if it is the real thing.
Once you've upgraded Edge, then you can install an extension that will tell websites you're using Chrome, even though you're using Edge. Since the new Edge is based on Chromium, the same engine behind Google Chrome, Zoom works perfectly. (and so does my daughter's SmartMusic.com site that requires Chrome too)
