I just upgraded my computer from Windows 8 to Windows 10 yesterday. But after a few hours of using the computer, the Start Button and the Search Bar stopped functioning. Nothing happens when I click on them. It also seems like the other buttons/icons on the task bar are unresponsive too.

Upon login, windows regenerated that and the start menu worked. Not sure what the exact cause is, or which specific folder inside was the fault, but it probably was related to my transfer from windows 8 to windows 10.
