Jul 10, 2023. #1. I predict Model X 5-seater will be priced at $78K in January 2024. My reasons: 1) Federal EV tax credit enables SUVs priced under $80K to get $7500 discount. And starting January 1st, this will be a point-of-sale discount, given upfront. 2) Model X Long Range was already priced at $80K from May to December of 2020.
When I started this thread, Model X sold for around $98K in the U.S. Now it costs $80K. My instincts are telling me that this coming weekend, we will see price adjustments across S,3,X,Y, and the Model X price will be reduced below $78K so that they can sell more interior upgrades and still qualify for tax credit under $80K, and also because ...

Jan 30, 2023. #1. We bought our Model X in 2017. It was an huge investment for us but thought that the running costs would be lower due to it being electric. Last year we had some big ticket repair costs with new front suspension, upper- and lower arms etc mounting to $10,000. before that we had some items like new brakes of more than $1000.
Dec 11, 2017. 607. 559. New Jersey. Sep 12, 2023. #4. That's a typical Tesla full front PPF install ($2000-2500), had the same plus extra on my 3. It's great not worrying you're gunna scratch anything with the PPF even for washes or quick wipe-downs, but there's some areas that are just overkill.

The overall price of a Model X has gone up. But, you’re getting more for your money now. For example, the cheapest Model X now is $86,000. It’s more expensive than the first base model X at $75,000; which was also eligible for a $1,000 referral credit and a $7500 tax rebate for a total of $66,500.
