When you dip into pirate software, you better be on the defensive. Keep backups of your data (which you should be doing anyway), use virtual machines as sandboxes (preferably with your host OS and virtualized OS as different platforms), use independant hardware on different networks (when you cannot virtualize).
It seems easy to tell what downloads are safe(ish) on there by the skulls on the torrent listing, noting if/how reliable the author is. Where is a similar feature on 1337x? Regarding the number of seeders, they always seem to be pretty accurate once opening a TPB magnet link in qBittorent, but 1337x numbers are WAY off.

I was making a reference to everyones most trusted pirate who always seems to have everything, but generally, if you're downloading a video, TPB is safe. Virus' aren't in videos. Dipshit boomer alarmists will insist otherwise, because they don't understand how executables work, but you should literally never download a game from TPB.
Whenever I try downloading a movie from pirate bay it always leads me to a site and I have to do a task to download the film.
