Unable to create usb installation media of windows 10 using media creation tool. Four times I have attempted this and every time it completes the program just disappears and my USB is empty... Am I the only one with this problem
Please excuse basic query, I have never used this before. Anyhow I prepared the bootable usb and when I tried it I get a box with X:\windows\system32> command prompt showing. Is this right? I am attempting to follow the Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase "Restoring a UEFI/GPT System image to MBR" where it says Open a Windows command window.

Leave the default Cluster size then enter a label for your thumb drive. Click the choose disk image icon, browse to where the ISO file is located, select it then click Open. Click Start to copy the files to the thumb drive. If you have any files on the thumb drive, they will be deleted.
