Hi, In short, you can't. Unlike Xbox One or Series X|S controllers, the 360 wireless controllers are always wireless. The Play & Charge kit simply charges the battery, it does not send data. The only way to use an 360 wireless controller on a PC is via an Xbox 360 gaming receiver for Windows.
Hi, Unfortunately no, sorry. The reason being is that the Xbox 360 wireless controller is always wireless even if you connect it via a charging cable. The cable simply charges the battery, or powers the controller if no battery is present, it doesn't send data. Only the Xbox One controllers - and the up coming Series X/S controllers can be use ...
You will need to connect the cord to the Xbox and the controller at the same time, while having your console on and the battery pack is still attached to the controller. That way the console will recharge the battery pack while you can still use the controller. After it is fully recharged, you can remove the cord and use the controller ...
Right-click on the "Guitar Hero" device, click "Properties", "Driver" tab, "Update Driver" button, "Search drivers on PC". 4. Just click on "Choose from a list of drivers available on your PC". 5. Hence why the second part (circled) refers to using an Xbox gaming receiver with an Xbox 360 wireless controller. Note that the 'Gaming receiver' must ...
I have a problem. I have official Xbox 360 Wireless controllers with official rechargeable batteries. I plug the play and charge cord into the console (the console is on by the way) then attach it to the controllers. The green light on the cord quickly flicks on and the just as fast turns off. The guide button on the controller also turns on.
Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button. Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox. Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.
Please try reverting the firmware on your controller to the previous FW by following these steps on your Xbox console. To do this, Navigate to My Games and Apps, > Apps > Xbox Assist > Articles > Console & Accessories > "My controller has connection issue after the last update" > Check controller firmware > Revert Firmware.
Actually, there is no special button that you need to press in order for you to remove the cable. The cable can just be removed easily by pulling it out from the controller. You might need to do it harder as it might just be stuck because of how tight it is. Just make sure not to pull using the wire but instead pull it from the base just on top ...
