I have a set of 12x42 Pur and they are stunning! The image beats my 8.5x42, the ergonomics are better and they are lighter. Approximately same field of view, which I don't understand how they did. The only down side is the focus range is much less forgiving, thus as you scan country you are constantly focusing to maintain the perfect focus.
Feb 8, 2006. #2. I dont know about the SLC's but my 10x42 EL's # is located under the focus wheel. Under meaning it snaps backwards to allow for finer focusing for one eye to compensate for eyes that are not equal but have differant charecteristics. When you slide the wheel back, the # is under the wheel. On my range finder its under the battery.
I have a spotting scope but get severe eye strain when looking through it for long periods. I know a lot of guys have 22x bushinell spotting scopes clamped together for their bigeyes. The idea I have is to buy either a pair of 10X or 15X Swarovski Binoculars and put two doublers on them to...

Swarovski 15x56 SLC Binocular While hunting for "Magnum" I was carrying Swarovski 10x42 binos, Swarovski 15x56 binos, a Swarovski 20x60 ATS HD spotting scope and Docter Optic 30x80 binoculars (Big Eyes - which I wish Swarovski would make) and using every one of them. The harvest of that magnificent deer can be attributed, at least partly, to ...
Technologist said: I have the opportunity to get a bino/rangefinder combo. I've been looking hard at the Swarovski EL Range, availible in 8x42 and 10x42. I also love having great light gathering binos, so I've looked at the Zeiss Victory RF in 8x56. I know Leica has a very good bino/rangefinder but where I live, it's even more expensive than ...
Posted by Jay ScottThe Swarovski 12X50 EL Binoculars have been a piece of gear that I have been pondering over for some time. Once I got them in my hand the excitement grew exponentially. I used them over the weekend while scouting for Arizona Desert bighorn sheep and was very impressed with the clarity around the edges and the crisp bright ...

Location. Florence, SC. Sep 21, 2024. #2. I have the Zeiss Victory RF 10x42. Good glass and gives accurate ballistics. Blue tooth connection with Zeiss App is quick and easy to use. It's had some warranty issues that Zeiss took care of. First one was it wouldn't work in extreme cold.
