I have two laptops, one is an older Win 10 machine, and I have a new Win 11 machine. The Win 10 machine works fine with Garmin Express. Garmin Express will not launch on the new Win 11 machine. Everything else works fine on the new Win 11 machine. GE downloads and installs fine. When I try try to launch GE nothing happens.

Garmin Express 7.20.3.0 new install on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 causes windows to prompt the user to install .Net Framework v3.5 This prompt seems to be coming from Windows itself as it says something like 'A program you are installing needs .Net Framework v3.5, install it ?' rather than a prompt directly from the Garmin Installer.

I am running a ASUS laptop with Windows 11.. I have tried opening Garmin Express as administrator and also have opened Edge as administrator. Yesterday the Express software updated to 7.20.3.0. The problem persists.
I start with uninstalling Garmin Express using this tool - Windows's Program and Features still show it as installed afterwards, but nevermind - and continue with installing GE from the latest installation file. Hope it helps. It is still huge PITA to have to undergo this every single time you want to update, but at least it works.
Trying to update maps on my Epix watch, downloads the maps (takes an age) then crashed. Happens every time. Nightmare app! Latest Garmin Express version (updated immediately prior to using), MacBook Pro macOS 14.2 (loads of disk space, memory, etc.)
My wife's Vivosmart 4 connects no problems. I am using the Garmin USB cable, and it is going into mass storage mode, and shows up in Windows 10 as well. Garmin Express quits if I try to start it while the 520 is connected to the PC. If I stat Express with the 520 unattached it starts OK, but will not pick up the 520 when I go to add the device.
I am having issues getting Garmin Express on my PC to recognize my Garmin R10 when I plug it in. Note that Garmin Express updated when I opened it to the latest version. Initially I saw my device listed in Garmin Express and it indicated that an update was available. It indicated that I had v4.0 and v4.3 is available. Perfect! So I clicked install.
