Good morning all, my DD just applied to UNC Charlotte in late August. Excited to meet those with kids interested in Charlotte. I also have a DD24 that attends UNCC and it has been a great experience.

UNC Charlotte does not have as strong an emphasis on the arts; but, being in the city of Charlotte, it has many art museums and galleries nearby.</p> <p>I like warm weather, so Charlotte is better for that. But I also like the mountain scenery of Boone. Both schools have nice facilities (although I think I liked UNC Charlotte’s a bit more).

UNCW is by far your best choice. UNCC just edges ECU for me. UNCC has large campus, but a large chunk are commuters. eastcoast24 June 1, 2016, 12:55am 3. I go to Uncc and it is by far better UNCW. In the recent years UNCC has grown so much so there are so many more people living on campus which makes the commuter status go down a lot.
