4K with ray tracing maxed near the tree of whispers looks phenomenal I just compared it with RT on high and off, even made screenshots. I cannot see a difference except the shadows being a little softer. Reflections in the water look really bad even with RT on high, so low res.

Thor-1358 March 26, 2024, 6:16pm 1. Ray Tracing is very poorly implemented. An RTX 3080 12GB, Ryzen 7 3800X and 32GB of Ram cannot achieve 60FPS in FullHD with Ray Tracing activated. The game runs at 40FPS. Very sad.
Those ray accelerators mean the 6500 XT can handle real-time ray tracing, though frame rates will undoubtedly be low unless you flip on AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution, or the new Radeon Super Resolution feature that works in almost any game.
Once its installed drag the reshade-shaders folder into the one that was generated by the reshade install and overwrite it. (Exact calibrations pending final launch) The catch is, with my GTX 1660 Ti set up, the framerate in multiplayer will drop to 70 from 140 with raytracing on.
The only 2 console games I’ve played with ray tracing where I feel it’s been done well is the (software based) ray traced GI in Gear 5, and ray traced reflections in DOOM Eternal.
