The casino on board isn't like the casinos on land. On Royal you have to reach 2500pts at least to get free drinks in the casino. At that threshold you would qualify for a free cruise from a listing and an annual free cruise when the "year" ends (it goes from April 1st to March 31st of each year).
That's not how it works on cruise ships. On Royal Caribbean, gamblers earn free drinks by hitting a certain tier -- Prime in this cruise line's Casino Royale program -- at which point they can get free drinks in the casino for a set period of time whether they are actively playing or not.
@smokeybandit's link will definitely give you the basics, but be aware - the casino rewards program is complicated and there are lots of "unwritten" rules as we are currently discussing in another thread.. To answer your direct questions: 1. You earn points on all games EXCEPT for live Texas Hold' Em and the coin slider things (don't know what they are called).
The casino royale players club program is as disorganized as they come. Nobody (especially the land based reps) knows anything about it and two phone calls will yield opposite answers. With that being said, if you lay some cash on the table and gamble some money you may get some decent comps.
