Somehow I found a solution (idk if it was a chrome extension or actual app) that I had downloaded on my Windows 11 PC last month. Just had to reinstall Windows and now I can't find anything online. The icon was just YouTubeTV logo, and it would open a dedicated window with a high resolution YouTube TV feed.
Chromium-based browsers (like Chrome or the rebuilt Edge) have a command-line option to open a particular web page in "app mode", giving you the look/feel of an app without the distraction of an address bar, toolbars/bookmarks, etc. Copying the shortcut for your broswer, and adding "--app= https://tv.youtube.com " will get you YTTV in "app mode".
There is no official YouTube TV native apps on Windows 10 at the moment. However, I got your point. Xbox apps are mostly built on a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) which is technically capable to execute on Windows 10. However, for some reason, those apps are locked out on Microsft Store on Windows 10. It would be nice if I have those video ...
There is no native Windows app for YTTV as far as I know. There is an option to install a browser shortcut as an app, but that's just a web wrapper for the browser version of the site which does not support any 4K as far as I know. YTTV's 4K is kind of a sham. Only certain vods and live sports are available in 4k regardless of whether or not ...
App. This is currently the closest I can get to an actual reliable YouTube TV app for Windows devices. This app, however, is quite unreliable. It signs you out randomly and makes you have to reconnect any previously connected devices. If anyone knows of any app in development or already released that might be what I'm looking for, please let me ...
Does anyone know of a YouTube TV app for Windows? Please note I am specifically asking for "YouTube TV" and not YouTube or YouTube viewing with TV UI. YouTube TV the Over-the-top TV subscription service. Thanks
Open tv.youtude.com in Chrome and it should give you a chance to install it. It's possible your computer took an update and the app needs to be reinstalled again. My laptop updated Windows last week and I had to reinstall a couple apps. There is no app, just a pwa. Go to TV.youtube.com and install it.

I've found that using AHK (AutoHotKeys) app I would be able to map keyboard shortcut combinations to use with Harmony Remote while opening each web app (e.g. Youtube TV) from Kodi, using Chrome Launcher. It will be great to know if anyone here can share the experience using this kind of setup. AutoHotKey app is based on scripting.
Once you run it, then you can choose any window and press ctrl+spacebar to make it stay on top. Took a bit to get figures out, but now it's pretty simple to do. I hope YTTV adds back the pip functionality to Chrome in the future though, much easier. 3. Reply.
