Buc-ees brisket sandwich is indeed good. They have a sandwich maker bar where they fresh slice the various types of meat and make the sandwiches, so these are better than other convenience store sandwiches that come pre-packaged from far away.
I don't think Buc-ees is a "competitor" in the sense that we traditionally think of competing retailers/suppliers/services. If a sheetz is across the street from a Buc-ees; yes more people will probably go to the Buc-ees.

Folks by Buc-ees are trying their best to not get that land on Pocket Road developed. I saw a lady there yesterday taking photos of the land and signage - so maybe another news article will come out soon. They have started working on the spec building behind McDonalds. That will be an Amazon Facility as mentioned.

It is confirmed that ALL Conn's and ALL Badcock's are closing. I wish they'd combine those two and place a large anchor in that center. Auto Zone is opening beside Arby's on David McLeod. Plans show that they are using the existing building right beside the Arby's in front of Lowes.
