Password is not working and forgotten. It asks for my phone number and it is the number associated with my old Apple ID but my phone number has changed so although I am able to correctly enter the phone number I am unable to receive a verification code and am offers no other options. Double click the app and scroll down. Look for iOS Backup. There may be a couple of dates. Find the latest date of your back up and double click. Check the box "Show password" and enter your computer's passcode (the one that you use to login to your computer). This should reveal your password for the backup.
