Instant approved at Banana Republic (Barkleys) I shop at Banana Republic every now and then, and recently when checking out the cashier said I was approved for a Banana Republic store credit card issued by Barkleys. I don't typically want store cards since I do most of my shopping on Amazon, even for clothing.
Re: Highest Banana Republic Credit Line? I started Banana Republic with a $700 limit in 2007 and had that all the way up until 2012 when it was increased to $1200. Last fall through chat I was able to get it up to $6000. Chat is definitely the best way to get a higher limit. Message 7 of 10. 0 Kudos.

Thanks for any insight! If your pre-approved there shouldn't be any INQ, you just get a new card with new history, your old card closes out. Possible AAoA hit if your history is thin. Closing the secured card won't affect the length of positive credit as long as it's closed in good standing. It'll stay on your reports for another 10 years. Same with the BR card. It will affect your UTI since you'll have less credit.
