Good advice - I contacted the app maker and they said that the LibriVox app does work on the KF HDX (even though it is grayed out in the Amazon App Store - perhaps because it competes with their Audible app).
I am Joseph, and I have implemented a new app to listen to Librivox recordings. We know that there are already many third party apps to do so, including Freed Audiobooks, the Librivox app, or Plover Audiobooks for example. However, we've added a few unique functionalities in our app which we believe might make it convenient for some people.

The download is about 2mb, because it includes the LibriVox catalog (as of yesterday). It will also auto-update the catalog every week or so. The downloaded audio books go into a Librivox directory on your external storage. I may make that customizable in the future. There is also a playlist created for each book in its directory.

LibriVox doesn't provide or manage any apps, we just record audiobooks and make them available online in the public domain. From there, anyone can take those recordings and do whatever they want with them, including build an app to play them.

I'm not sure what you mean by installing it "in LibriVox app." Do you mean the ReplayGain plugin for Audacity? - Click THIS LINK and save the file to your computer - your desktop or somewhere. - Then go to the folder in which Audacity is installed (on my computer, it's in C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity) and open the Plug-Ins folder.

Also when you go into the book and you see the list of chapters, the name of each narrator in a colab is written for you to see. Just trying to be helpful. Those things really help me in my ...
